The meal plan is coming together throughout the week. I've got a car I can drive myself but I'm a little shy about jumping right back out into full blown traffic. Its been a few years since I drove manual and even then it was right handed and in way less traffic. So the meal plan this week kind of revolves around stuff I can buy at the nearby less useful grocery. I'm thinking that should give me the practice I need driving but the ease me into heavier traffic situations. I'm hoping next week to make a larger scale shopping trip to the grocery I like better but that is going to involve a lot more traffic and potentially me driving up a corkscrew parking garage ramp- that could be ugly and i'm gearing up for it.
Meal Plan
Monday- leftover Slow Cooker (Pressure cooker) Thai Chicken, Brown Rice, Steam Brocolli
Tuesday noon- Beef Rendang (pressure cooker) Brown Rice, Spiced Green Beans
Tuesday pm- Cheese Hot Dogs
Wednesday- Curried Veg & Garbanzos, Naan
Wednesday pm- leftover beef rendang, rice, curried veg
Thursday - Indian Hamburger Kebabs, Naan (maybe in front of the tv to watch American Idol)
Friday- Schezuan Tempeh Stir Fry, Rice (a combination of recipes that first involved Tofu)
Food of Love:
- Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Roasted Pumpkin
- Stromboli Bread with ham and mozzarella
