Meal plan

Mostly the last two weeks I have been going back and forth to immigration and the police station. Not the same police station but different ones. Or sometimes its a neighborhood/ village office. Getting the second extension for our visas. And then, an exercise in futility, trying to renew our driver's license. I've made meal plans but sitting down to get them posted just wasn't happening. Even now, since trying to write this post the power has gone out and Jonathan deleted/ misplaced my first attempt. Things just aren't going the way they are supposed to. The only real bright spot is that if we don't get a new visa we will go on a forced vacation/ visa run to Singapore and there are worse places in the world to be forced to vacation. But if we do get a new visa I'll get to write a meal plan with the expectation of hosting guests. I'd really much rather host guests.

Monday noon: Smothered Pork, Naan, Indian Mashed Potatoes (a real no brainer)

Monday pm: leftovers

Tuesday: Chinese Meatballs & Veg, Rice

Wednesday noon: Coconut Milk Beans, Rice

Wednesday pm: Hummus, Hard rolls, Cold Stick Veg

Menu: Spinach Quiche

Menu: Barbecued Beef, Steamed Veg

Menu: Veg Curry, Naan

Food of Love:

Homemade applesauce- things just can't go bad with the smell of cinnamon and apples

Zucchini Yeast Rolls

Chocolate Chip Cookies

But if we find ourselves in Singapore, I'm looking forward to sitting under a tree in the Botanical Gardens while @ plays with a ball and looking forward to Indian food and coffee with Sweetened Condensed Milk (that's vacation food people, you can't drink coffee with sweetened condensed milk everyday and not have a heart problem).
