It took me an extra day to get a meal plan together and to figure out a grocery list. Last week I didn't go to the grocery for major shopping - just vegetables. We ate through some of the surplus that I tend to hoard (have I mentioned I still shop like I live in a communist dictatorship- part of me is always thinking about standing in the ration line. yes, i've done it).
Monday noon & pm- Chicken & Chickpea Soup (1/2 Recipe), Rice
Tuesday noon- Spinach Quiche (red spinach & red onion, the Quiche of Love), Cooked Apples
Tuesday pm - Cheeseburger, Baked Beans, Cooked Apples (special request from Jonathan)
Menu- Vegetarian Lasanga
Menu- Veg. Bean & Cheese Enchilada
Menu- Quesadillas from leftovers from Enchilada
Menu- Veg Stroganoff with Noodles
Tasties in the kitchen this week (the extras I have to make)
* pasta sauce
* enchilada sauce
* roasting pumpkin seeds...yum
* crepes w/ apples & honey - some morning for breakfast
* sweet potato crescent rolls
* lemon bars (found out my lanugage tutor and her son loved these when I brought them over)
